The 3 Packages & Why I’m Offering Them

We are different, right?

Once I went to a sandwich shop with a friend, and we both ordered a sandwich. So basically we all ordered the same thing. But something was different in our orders. He liked his with some spicy ingredients, and I wanted mine without those ingredients. So we ended up getting different orders and for different prices.

That’s how I see life — we’re not the same, and we have different needs that can be satisfied by different orders. That’s why I’m offering the book in multiple packages. That way you can pick what works for you.

Also, my desire above all is for readers to take action, and start projects right where they are, but that’s not all there is to it. When the project’s over, what happens? Definitely the project did teach you somethings, right? You grew from it, right — if you stepped out of your comfort zone? And you learned somethings about yourself and about your project? Do all these go to waste by just moving on?

No. That’s why books are written. Imagine a world where all the books are burned, or no one wrote books at all. We will have a knowledge crisis, right?

In that same way, you add to the store of the world’s knowledge by sharing your story and your lessons with the world (in the form of a book), just like I did to make it possible for the my story to reach you.

That’s why I added a guide for those who would like to do this — even as a way of writing their first book (what’s more original than writing your first book by telling your own story and sharing your own lessons?) and I also recorded audio commentaries where you will hear me go over the concepts in the book and help you better understand some of them.

Why? Believe it or not, somethings are better understood when said than when they are written, and that’s what the audio is for.

Okay, here they are:

Who Is This For?

New Bloggers

A project like this gives you something worthy to write about. Something that’s real and that others could learn from, and could lead to freelance income. In 21 days or less of blogging about your journey and sharing it, you will have created real relationships, strengthened your writing skills, and given yourself a chance to help someone.

New Writers/Journalists

Get basic reporting skills, learn to interview people, and document the whole process for your portfolio.

Young Entrepreneurs

Build people, pitching, and public speaking skills as you go out there and present your rationale for whatever you are working on, and invite others to join you while helping them at the same time.

Non-Profit Starters

You get to do something for free, publicize your new non-profit, learn from the experience, build skills, and gather contacts — -most non profits are supported by local business

Idea Testers

You got an idea you want to test out? Go out and talk to people about it and validate your idea. This could lead to a bigger problem-solving opportunity.

Students — High school, College & Recent Graduates

Learn how to start something in your own local community that gives you creative control, builds your skills, and helps you find your voice, while making a difference at the same time.

Folks Looking For Work

It’s okay to look for work, but looking could take long, and why not take a personal initiative to get busy and improve your skills with a short personal interviewing project. In 21 days or less, you will have a better resume, and this could lead to something worthwhile.

Funny enough, one of the owners offered to hire me during one of my interviews from the initiative he saw in my project and my joy during the interview.

One interesting thing: All the folks on this list live in local communities around the country, and the opportunity to engage other professionals in an engaging, exploratory, and educational short term project is right there.
