Notice how using your hands and kicking your legs when swimming keeps you afloat — and keeps you from drowning?

So is life itself — you have to use your hands and feet to beat and kick against the waters (the world) by producing things of value that make ripples in the waters (the world).

This will keep you from sinking, and just as the ripples of your hands and feet are felt all over the pool, so will your influence increase far and wide by way of impacting people — and people will in turn compensate you for it.
